Remember to add a 'real' name' and something (silly) in your bio section of your profile. Failure to do so could result in the deletion of your account on the grounds it is thought to be a spammer.

Attention Writers:
Attention Writers: If your new stories or updates are not automatically posted, please be patient. The delay is due to having to validate each writer. While our staff attempts to recognize as many writers as possible, we are only involved in a few fandoms. We regret the inconvenience this process is causing for some of our members. However, once you are validated, you will be free to post your stories without delay.

Why are writers now being validated? Blame the spammers for the aggravation. With the rapid growth of the website, spammers using fake email addresses have attempted to disrupt the archive. Unless a member has a real email address, their account is deleted a.s.a.p. Again, the administrator regrets the inconvenience for our newer writers.

In Memoriam
In Memoriam Fan Fiction Writers has lost a talented writer much too soon!! Jessie Syring, or Seeing-Spots, as many knew her, recently past away after losing her brave battle against a serious illness. Jessie wrote in several fandoms, including LOTR and AS&J. She will be missed.

Sadly, this also marks the first anniversary of JM McClure's death. Jeanne was a friend and mentor to many fandom writers, myself included.

Efforts are now underway to archive their remaining stories, including many never before published on the Internet. In this small memoriam, fans, both new and old, will enjoy their stories for years to come.
